Director of Admissions

Jon Simon serves as the Director of Admissions at Dade Psychiatry Center, where he leads the patient intake experience with a commitment to compassionate care, operational excellence, and timely access to psychiatric services. With more than 9 years of experience in behavioral healthcare admissions and patient access, Jon has helped thousands of individuals and families navigate the often overwhelming process of seeking mental health and substance use treatment.

Throughout his career, Jon has developed expertise in patient admissions, insurance verification, care coordination, and crisis communication. He has successfully managed high-volume admissions departments, supervised remote call center teams, and implemented workflows that improve efficiency while maintaining a patient centered approach. His leadership style focuses on building strong teams, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring that every patient receives the guidance and support they need from their very first interaction.

Before joining Dade Psychiatry Center, Jon held leadership positions in behavioral health organizations, where he trained and mentored admissions coordinators, collaborated with multidisciplinary clinical teams, and optimized admissions operations using CRM platforms and performance metrics. His background includes extensive experience working with commercial insurance providers, coordinating patient logistics, and helping individuals overcome barriers to accessing care.
